A PASSAGE IN TORRES DEL PAINE (5 days / 4 nights)
From October 1 st to March 30 th .
Day 1 Our guide will meet you at the Punta Arenas airport at 6 pm. Transfer to Puerto Natales, a three-hour drive through the Patagonian pampa. Lodging in Puerto Natales at hostel Concepto Indigo, dinner, slide show and meeting to discuss trip program.
Day 2 Transfer by van to Torres del Paine National Park. This two-hour journey through A ranch country crossing the pampa Patagonica. Arrival at Torres del Paine.
Trek to the base of The Towers (7 hours roundtrip, 16 KM ), a spectacular hike to view the three pink granite towers that made the park famous. Lodging and dinner at Hostel Chileno, situated in the Ascencio Valley.
Day 3 Travel by van through the national park, with a stop at the Salto Grande waterfall. Cross Lake Pehoe by catamaran. Trek to Glacier Grey (3-4 hours 11 KM ), one of the most beautiful glaciers of the Patagonian ice field. In the evening, we will meet to prepare equipment and plan for the ice hike the following day. Day 4 After breakfast, we begin the navigate to Glacier Grey. There our guides will give an introductory course regarding the basics of trekking on ice, as well as how to use technical equipment, before beginning our blue adventure on Glacier Grey. An optional introductory course to ice climbing will be offered. After lunch navigate in Grey II boat, 2 hours navigation in this magic lake surrounded by ice bergs. Transfer from Hosteria Grey to Puerto Natales, lodging and farewell dinner Concepto Indigo
Day 5 Transfer to Punta Arenas airport.
