CONDOR ROUTE PROGRAM (7 days/6 nights)
From October 1 st to March 30 th
Day 1 Our guide will meet you at the Punta Arenas airport. Transfer to Puerto Natales, a three-hour drive through the Patagonian pampa. Lodging in Puerto Natales (hotel Indigo or local hostel), dinner and meeting to discuss the trip program.
Day 2 Transfer by van to Torres del Paine National Park. This is a two hour journey crossing the pampa Patagonica. Arrival at Torres del Paine.
We will begin trekking to the Ascencio Valley where from above you see the river (of the same name) running wildly past refugio Chileno where we will be spending our 1st night. After a quick stop here we will continue through a forest of the native Lenga (Beech) trees until reaching the glacial moraine. From here it’s a 1 hour trek to the top where the towers appear from nowhere! This trek is spectacular where you get to view the 3 pink granite towers with its glacial lake below that made the park famous. (6 hours round trip, 16 KM ). Lodging & dinner refugio Chileno.
Day 3 Travel by van through the national park, with a stop at the Salto Grande waterfall. Cross Lake Pehoe by catamaran. Trek to Glacier Grey (3-4 hours 11 KM ), one of the most beautiful glaciers of the Patagonian ice field. Lodging and dinner at Camp Grey.
Day 4 At lunch time we’ll navigate in the Grey II boat, 2 hours navigation in this magic lake surrounded by ice bergs. Hike up Mount Ferrier which is one of the most amazing lookout points in Torres del Paine, 3.5 hours round trip. Transfer from Hosteria Grey to Camp Pehoe Ruta. Lodging and dinner in this beautiful place with the view of Paine Grande, Los Cuernos, French Valley, Almirante Nieto.
Day 5 Today we will trek off the beaten path to Las Cornizas (5 hrs), with amazing views of the Paine Mountain range. The trek continues through a beautiful Lenga forest, where we will then take a transfer to reach Hosteria Cerro Guido (a typical working estancia). Here you can enjoy the comfort of private rooms, a pisco sour and good food to wind down after an exciting adventure.
Day 6 Transfer to Puerto Natales, free afternoon to enjoy this cozy and beautiful town, lodging ( hotel Indigo or local hostel ), and farewell dinner.
Day 7 Transfer to Punta Arenas airport.
