    This winter Antares Patagonia offers you the opportunity to visit Torres del Paine for a unique experience. Walk the paths free of the crowds of summer, and enjoy an undisturbed contact with nature. The right gear will keep you comfortable during both cold and sunny days.

    Program: Winter in Torres del Paine

    Day 01: (May/August 2017)

    Our guide will be meet you at the Puerto Natales bus station. Transfer to your hotel, accommodation at Kau Lodge. Welcome dinner and meeting to discuss about the trip program. (D)

    Day 02: (May/August 2017)

    Transfer by van to Torres del Paine National Park. This is a two hour journey crossing the pampa Patagonica. Arrival at Torres del Paine. We will begin trekking to the Ascencio Valley where from above you see the river (of the same name) running wildly past refugio Chileno. After a quick stop here we will continue through a forest of the native Lenga (Beech) trees until reaching the glacial moraine. From here it’s a 1 hour trek to the top where the towers appear from nowhere! This trek is spectacular where you get to view the 3 pink granite towers with its glacial lake below that made the park famous. (8 hours round trip, 20 KM). Lodging & dinner at Las Torres. (B/L/D)

    Day 03: (May/August 2017)

    Travel by van through the national park with a stop at the Nordenskjold lake, Pehoe lake and Salto Grande waterfall. At midday we will trek to Mirador del Condor, the look out point to the whole Paine mountain range, Laguna Honda, Sarmiento and Verde. We will continue to Grey lake. Here you will walk alongside the lake having the great view of the ice bergs. Transfer back to Puerto Natales, lodging at Kau Lodge and a farewell dinner.

    Day 04: (May/August 2017)

    Transfer to the Puerto Natales bus station to take regular bus to Punta Arenas.

    Day 01: (May/August 2017) Thursday

    Day 02: (May/August 2017) Friday

    Day 03: (May/August 2017) Saturday

    We will travel by van through the national park and cross Lake Pehoe on the midday catamaran. Trek to the French Valley. This valley is the most beautiful in the park and one of the most unique in the world. Its surrounded by hanging glaciers (where you can see & hear the ice calving off at various intervals) and an amphitheater of granite walls and spires. There are amazing views throughout this trek and the further you trek into the valley the better they become! For this day we have two hiking options: A consists in getting to further end of the trail, to the British Camp, this is all the way to the end of this natural congregation of mountains. If we reach this point, we will have completed 24km and 7-8 hours hiking. B consists on reaching to the French Valley Main Lookout, from this point you can appreciate the whole natural amphitheater created by glaciers millions of years ago, it is absolutely breathtaking. If you take Plan B, you will have hiked for 5-6 hours and completed 16km. The options will depend on fitness level, timing and weather conditions. On the return journey you will notice the extraordinary turquoise colour of Lake Pehoe (hidden lake in the Tehuelche Indian language). Dinner and night at Paine Grande Lodge.

    Day 04: (May/August 2017) Sunday

    We will trek along enchanting Lake Grey (3-4 hours 11 KM) with magnificent views of Glacier Grey and floating icebergs. Visit to the glacier lookout point and to the lakeshore for up-close views of vibrant-blue icebergs (Paine is a Tehuelche Indian word for "blue"). We will navigate in the Grey III boat, 2 hours navigation in this magic lake surrounded by ice bergs where the boat does a circuit right up to the front of the glacier whilst you stand on deck sipping your pisco sour served with glacial ice! Transfer from Grey lake to Puerto Natales. Farewell dinner and night at Kau Lodge or similar.

    Day 05: (May/August 2017) Monday

    Breakfast, transfer to Puerto Natales bus station to take regular bus to Punta Arenas.

    Day 03: (May/August 2017) Wednesday

    Today we will trek along Lake Nordenskjold (named after the Swedish geologist who’s studies formed an important contribution to world glacial geology) and below the hanging glaciers of Mount Almirante Nieto, where we will reach the base of Los Cuernos (5 hours, 11 km). Lodging and dinner at refugio Los Cuernos. (B/L/D)

    Day 04: (May/August 2017) Thursday

    Trek to the French Valley. This valley, the most beautiful in the park and one of the most unique in the world. Its surrounded by hanging glaciers (where you can see & hear the ice calving off at various intervals) and an amphitheater of granite walls and spires. There are amazing views throughout this trek and the further you trek into the valley the better they become!

    Lodging and dinner at Lodge Paine Grande where you can enjoy a pisco sour in the bar that overlooks Paine Grande & Los Cuernos in the beautiful evening light. (B/L/D)

    Day 05: (May/August 2017) Friday

    In our last day in Torres del Paine we will visit the Grey glacier. This day we have two options as well, A is to reach to Refugio Grey, where we actually get closer to one of the most beautiful glaciers of the Southern Patagonian ice field, with this option it will take 6-8hours roundtrip, 22km. B is to reach to Grey Glacier Lookout, this beautiful viewpoint gives us the opportunity to appreciate the glacier’s greatness, having a complete but far view of the glacier and be back to the lodge in time for a nice hot supper, if we take this option, we will hike for 3-4hours and complete 12km. The options depend on fitness level, timing a weather conditions. Dinner and night at Lodge Paine Grande. (B/L/D)

    Day 06: (May/August 2017) Saturday

    we will cross Pehoe lake by catamaran, transfer to Puerto Natales. During the afternoon regular bus to Punta Arenas, end of our services. (B)
